Can I edit the questions the AI generates?

Yes. Every question appears as an editable card in the builder. You can click a card to change its title, description or options, drag to reorder, duplicate, or delete. You can also keep chatting with Flickly AI to refine it, for instance "add a question about purchase frequency" or "make the third question more neutral".

What can I type, speak, or upload into the AI chat?

The prompt box accepts typed text, voice recordings that are converted to text, and file attachments such as images, PDFs, Word documents, or text files like a brief or brand guide. You can also attach screenshots as visual references.

Can I start from a template instead of a prompt?

Yes. The Templates library has ready made frameworks for common needs like NPS, CSAT, pricing research, concept validation, and packaging A/B tests. Each template lists what it will uncover, who it is best for, and sample questions. Click Use Template to load it into the builder and customise or publish it as is.

How does the quality score work?

Every respondent starts at 100 points. Each quality issue deducts points. If a respondent finishes below the disqualify threshold (50 by default) their response is excluded from your analytics, though it still remains in the raw data marked as disqualified. Responses that stay above the threshold count as valid.

It flags patterns like straight lining a grid (the same answer for every row), always clicking the same position, sequential or alternating clicking, speeders who finish in under 30% of the expected time, and open text that is gibberish, meaningless, or off topic, checked by the Flickly Decision Intelligence layer.

Can I adjust or turn the rules off?

Yes. Each of the 18 rules can be toggled individually and its penalty tuned up or down. A fast pulse survey might relax straight lining, while a high stakes concept test might set it to maximum. The base score stays at 100 and the threshold defaults to 50.

Why does a response get disqualified?

There are three reasons. A screener means a workflow condition ruled the respondent out. A score disqualification means their quality score fell below the threshold. An LOI speeder means they finished far faster than the expected time. Disqualified responses are excluded from your clean analytics but stay in the raw data.

How are open text answers checked for quality?

The Flickly Decision Intelligence layer reads each open text and short answer and classifies it. Gibberish, meaningless, or off topic answers are penalised, while relevant and genuine ones pass with no penalty. Answers below a minimum length are also flagged.
